The Disciple’s Burden Article 1of 3

🌿 Seeing the World Through Christ, Not Accusation

Many people today speak confidently about Jesus Christ while misunderstanding the very pattern of His life. The crucifixion was not the result of political rumor or personal rivalry—it was the collision between divine obedience and human blindness. Christ obeyed the law, honored His Father, and walked in perfect meekness. Yet even He was misjudged by those who believed they were defending righteousness.

This should humble every disciple.

When we see stories in the news, or hear accounts of broken families, legal conflict, or moral confusion, the temptation is to assign blame quickly. But Jesus warned His followers against assuming they could see the full truth of another person’s heart. He taught us to mourn with those who mourn, to pray for those who struggle, and to let God—not our assumptions—judge the soul.

The adversary thrives on certainty without knowledge. Christ thrives on compassion without compromise.

In a world full of noise, discipleship requires a quieter strength: humility, patience, and a refusal to condemn where God has not spoken. Our calling is not to declare who is lost, but to stay close to the Shepherd who seeks every lost one.
