Do all good things come from Jesus Christ?

Where goodness rises, Christ is near.
Where truth awakens, His light is already moving.
Where hearts are softened, His Spirit is speaking.
Where faith reaches, His power answers.

All good bears His name.
All truth reveals His face.
All light leads us home.

"And whatsoever thing is good is just and true; wherefore, nothing that is good denieth the Christ, but acknowledgeth that he is.
"And ye may know that he is, by the power of the Holy Ghost; wherefore I would exhort you that ye deny not the power of God; for he worketh by power, according to the faith of the children of men, the same today and tomorrow, and forever."
                                            Moroni 10:6-7

Excerpts from Moroni 10:6 broke down
1. “And whatsoever thing is good is just and
    true…”

All goodness carries His signature

Moroni teaches that every good thing—every impulse toward mercy, truth, justice, healing, reconciliation, compassion—already bears the imprint of Jesus Christ.
We are not left to guess. Goodness is not neutral. Goodness is not random. Goodness is not self‑generated.

Goodness acknowledges Him.
Goodness bends toward Him.
Goodness reveals Him.

This means that whenever we feel a desire to lift, bless, forgive, or heal, we are already being acted upon by Christ’s grace. His influence is not rare; it is constant, steady, and universal.

By Elder Patrick Kearon Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles October 2025 General Conference

"All of us can have a new beginning through, and because of, Jesus Christ. Even you."

2. “Nothing that is good denieth the Christ,
    but acknowledgeth that he is.”

Goodness is a witness

Moroni’s logic is simple and sweeping:

▪︎ If it is good » it comes from Christ.
▪︎ If it persuades us toward good » it testifies
  of Christ.
▪︎ If it softens us » it is aligned with Christ.
▪︎ If it heals us » it is empowered by Christ.

So the answer to the question “Do all good things come from Jesus Christ?” is not only yes—it is necessarily yes.
Goodness is covenantal evidence.
Goodness is Christ’s living footprint among us.

"Love is the measure of our faith, the inspiration for our obedience, and the true altitude of our discipleship."

3. “…ye may know that he is, by the power of
    the Holy Ghost…”

Cross-reference word: know
The principle: Testimony

Here Moroni shifts from goodness as evidence to the Holy Ghost as confirmation.
We are invited to know—not merely suspect, hope, or infer—that Jesus Christ lives.

From the long list provided, here are the most poignant, essential Testimony scriptures that align with Moroni’s teaching and our devotional purpose:

Selected Testimony Scriptures
Principle of know

“I know that my redeemer liveth.”
A personal, unshaken declaration that Christ is living and active.

"do his will … shall know of the doctrine."
If we do His will, we shall know. Testimony grows through faithful practice.

“Ye shall know the truth.”
Knowledge is promised, not withheld.

"life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God"
Life eternal is to know God and Jesus Christ. Testimony is not optional; it is salvific.

"say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost."
No one can say Jesus is the Lord but by the Holy Ghost. The Spirit is the source of all true testimony.

"He that believeth … hath the witness in himself"
Testimony becomes internal, living, and personal.

"saw my Redeemer, even as I have seen him."
Prophetic witness anchors our own.

"know that we knew of Christ."
We knew of Christ, and we testify of Him.
Ancient and modern testimony form a unified witness.

“This is the testimony which is in me.”
Testimony becomes identity.

"because of my Spirit he shall know … things are true."
By the Spirit we shall know that all things are true. The Spirit confirms truth in the soul.

“This is the testimony… which we give him... that he lives.”
The central witness of this dispensation.

These passages form a single, unified principle:

Testimony is the Holy Ghost revealing Christ to our hearts.

We come to know Him because He chooses to make Himself known.

4. “…for he worketh by power, according to
the faith of the children of men…”

The principle: According to our faith

The cross‑reference words point us to:

"For he is the same yesterday, today, and forever; and the way is prepared for all men from the foundation of the world, if it so be that they repent and come unto him.
"For he that diligently seeketh shall find; and the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto them, by the power of the Holy Ghost, as well in these times as in times of old, and as well in times of old as in times to come; wherefore, the course of the Lord is one eternal round."
                                      1 Nephi 10:17-19

▪︎ The Holy Ghost gives knowledge “according
to the diligence and heed” we give.

"Or have angels ceased to appear unto the children of men? Or has he withheld the power of the Holy Ghost from them? Or will he, so long as time shall last, or the earth shall stand, or there shall be one man upon the face thereof to be saved?"
                                                Moroni 7:36

▪︎ Angels minister “according to the power of
  the faith” of God’s children.

The pattern is consistent:

▪︎ Christ is the source of all good.
▪︎ The Holy Ghost reveals Christ to us.
▪︎ The degree of revelation is
  according to our faith.
▪︎ As our faith grows, His power becomes
  more visible, more intimate, more
  transformative.

This is not transactional.
It is relational.
Christ works with us at the pace our trust allows.

5. The Why? The Principle of the Entire Study

Goodness is Christ’s witness. Testimony is the Spirit’s witness. Power is the Father’s witness.

Moroni 10:6–7 teaches us a unified truth:

▪︎ Goodness reveals Christ’s character.
▪︎ The Holy Ghost reveals Christ’s reality.
▪︎ Faith reveals Christ’s power.

So when we ask, “Do all good things come from Jesus Christ?”
we are really asking, “Is Christ present in the world, in us, and around us?”

Moroni answers:

Yes.
He is.
And the Spirit will make that known to us.

He Moves Where Goodness Moves

I bear witness that Jesus Christ is nearer than we think. Wherever goodness rises, He is already present. Wherever truth stirs, His light is already working. Whenever a heart softens, it is His Spirit speaking. I know that every sincere desire to lift, bless, forgive, or heal is evidence of His living grace. He is not distant. He is not silent. He is not waiting for us to qualify before He draws near. He is already moving toward us in every good thing that touches our lives. I testify that the Holy Ghost reveals Him, that faith unveils His power, and that Christ Himself is the source of all that is just, true, and healing in this world. He lives, and His goodness is the proof. Amen.

A World Filled With His Footprints

If we had spiritual eyes, we would see that the world is covered with the footprints of Christ. Every act of mercy, every moment of clarity, every surge of courage, every quiet forgiveness, every unexpected tenderness—these are not coincidences. They are signatures. They are signals. They are the Savior’s way of reminding us that He is not only the Redeemer of individuals but the Redeemer of moments. He sanctifies the ordinary. He fills the unnoticed. He works in the margins of our days. And when we recognize that all good acknowledges Him, we begin to see that we have never walked alone. His goodness is not rare. His presence is not occasional. His influence is not fragile. He is constant, steady, and faithful.

The Witness of Goodness, Spirit, and Power

This entire study rests on one unified truth:
Christ reveals Himself through goodness, the Spirit reveals Him through testimony, and the Father reveals Him through power. Moroni teaches that goodness is not neutral—it is Christ’s witness. The Holy Ghost does not whisper guesses—He confirms reality. And faith is not a transaction—it is the channel through which God’s power flows. Together, these truths form a single, covenantal pattern: Christ is present in the world, in our hearts, and in our becoming. Every good thing points to Him. Every true whisper leads to Him. Every act of faith draws power from Him. And because He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, we can trust that He will continue to work, continue to reveal, and continue to lift us into the life He has prepared. He is here. He is good. And He is God.
