What are some signs that God is real?

📒 Alma 30
📜 44 But Alma said unto him: Thou hast had signs enough; will ye tempt your God? Will ye say, Show unto me a sign, when ye have the testimony of all these thy brethren, and also all the holy prophets? The scriptures are laid before thee, yea, and all things denote there is a God; yea, even the earth, and all things that are upon the face of it, yea, and its motion, yea, and also all the planets which move in their regular form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator.

Summary of signs that God is real

- Creation and cosmic order — the earth, its life, motion, and the steady movements of planets point to a Creator.
- Scripture and prophetic testimony — sacred records and prophets across time testify to God’s existence and character.

- Personal experience — inner conviction, answered prayer, providence, and life‑changing transformation often feel like direct encounters with God.

- Miracles and fulfilled prophecy — extraordinary events or specific predictions that defy ordinary explanation are taken as supernatural signs.

- Practical test — weigh multiple kinds of evidence together, look for moral fruit and consistency with revealed truth, and avoid demanding extra signs when clear testimony already exists.

📒 Mosiah 13
🗝📜33 For behold, did not Moses prophesy unto them concerning the coming of the Messiah, and that God should redeem his people? Yea, and even all the prophets who have prophesied ever since the world began—have they not spoken more or less concerning these things?
📜 34 Have they not said that God himself should come down among the children of men, and take upon him the form of man, and go forth in mighty power upon the face of the earth?

> All things declare His name—
> the earth in its fullness, the heavens in their motion,
> planets in their ordered paths,
> bearing silent witness of a Supreme Creator.
> And all prophets declare His coming—
> Moses, and every voice since the world began,
> proclaiming that God Himself would walk among men,
> redeeming with mighty power and tender love.
> Creation and covenant, cosmos and prophecy,
> converge as one chorus:
> God is real, God is near, God redeems.

📜 7 But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:
🗝📜8 Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
📜 9 Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this?
🗝📜10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.

📜 42 And again, verily I say unto you, he hath given a law unto all things, by which they move in their times and their seasons;

📚 Moses 2
📜 1 And it came to pass that the Lord spake unto Moses, saying: Behold, I reveal unto you concerning this heaven, and this earth; write the words which I speak. I am the Beginning and the End, the Almighty God; by mine Only Begotten I created these things; yea, in the beginning I created the heaven, and the earth upon which thou standest.

📚 Abraham 4
📜 1 And then the Lord said: Let us go down. And they went down at the beginning, and they, that is the Gods, organized and formed the heavens and the earth.

Earth, even the earth, will teach you:
beasts and fowl, fish and field declare the hand that formed them.
The soil lifts blade to ear, the harvest speaks of patient law and seed.
Storm and quake unveil the weight of holiness; lightning and tempest name a voice.
Sun and season carry the light of Christ, the law by which all things move in time.
From beginning to end the heavens and the earth answer:
We were formed and ordered by a speaking God who walks among His works.
Listen—creation is a chorus, and every note proclaims the Maker and His redeeming purpose.

📜 47 Behold, all these are kingdoms, and any man who hath seen any or the least of these hath seen God moving in his majesty and power.

Behold, all kingdoms visible and small:
stone and stream, leaf and living breath;
every least thing that moves or rests declares
the Majesty who walks within His works.
To see the sparrow, the star, the silent hill
is to glimpse God moving in power and grace.
Open your eyes—creation is a window;
the Maker’s step is printed on every scene.

📜 12 Yea, by the power of his voice, do the foundations rock, even to the very center.
📜 13 Yea, and if he say unto the earth—Move—it is moved.
📜 14 Yea, if he say unto the earth—Thou shalt go back, that it lengthen out the day for many hours—it is done;
🗝📜15 And thus, according to his word the earth goeth back, and it appeareth unto man that the sun standeth still; yea, and behold, this is so; for surely it is the earth that moveth and not the sun.

By His word the ground is stilled or sent in haste;
foundations tremble at the whisper of His will.
If He command the earth to step aside, the sun will seem to stand,
for all motion answers to the voice that ordered seed and star.
Hear the world move—mountain, ocean, day and night—
and know the Lord who speaks and all things obey.

📜 40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
🗝📜41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
📜 42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

📜 37 And there are many kingdoms; for there is no space in the which there is no kingdom; and there is no kingdom in which there is no space, either a greater or a lesser kingdom.

📚 Moses 1
📜 33 And worlds without number have I created; and I also created them for mine own purpose; and by the Son I created them, which is mine Only Begotten.
📚 Moses 7
📜 30 And were it possible that man could number the particles of the earth, yea, millions of earths like this, it would not be a beginning to the number of thy creations; and thy curtains are stretched out still; and yet thou art there, and thy bosom is there; and also thou art just; thou art merciful and kind forever;
The three states are Ain, Ain Soph, and Ain Soph Aur, representing stages of divine being from absolute nothingness to limitless light before creation.
• Ain:
The absolute, primordial state of "nothingness" or "unmanifest" reality. It is the point before any differentiation or manifestation.
• Ain Soph:
The "limitless" or "infinite" state, which is still unmanifested but contains the potential for all things. It is the divine essence or a state of pure, undifferentiated potential before any creative act.
• Ain Soph Aur:
The "limitless light," which represents the first self-manifestation of God's light in preparation for creation. This state is the source of the divine energy and wisdom that will be used to create the universe, often likened to the "Mind of God" or the first emanation of divine light.

📚 Abraham 1
📜 31 But the records of the fathers, even the patriarchs, concerning the right of Priesthood, the Lord my God preserved in mine own hands; therefore a knowledge of the beginning of the creation, and also of the planets, and of the stars, as they were made known unto the fathers, have I kept even unto this day, and I shall endeavor to write some of these things upon this record, for the benefit of my posterity that shall come after me.

📚 Abraham 3
📜 3 And the Lord said unto me: These are the governing ones; and the name of the great one is Kolob, because it is near unto me, for I am the Lord thy God: I have set this one to govern all those which belong to the same order as that upon which thou standest.
📜 4 And the Lord said unto me, by the Urim and Thummim, that Kolob was after the manner of the Lord, according to its times and seasons in the revolutions thereof; that one revolution was a day unto the Lord, after his manner of reckoning, it being one thousand years according to the time appointed unto that whereon thou standest. This is the reckoning of the Lord’s time, according to the reckoning of Kolob.
📜 9 And thus there shall be the reckoning of the time of one planet above another, until thou come nigh unto Kolob, which Kolob is after the reckoning of the Lord’s time; which Kolob is set nigh unto the throne of God, to govern all those planets which belong to the same order as that upon which thou standest.
📜 13 And he said unto me: This is Shinehah, which is the sun. And he said unto me: Kokob, which is star. And he said unto me: Olea, which is the moon. And he said unto me: Kokaubeam, which signifies stars, or all the great lights, which were in the firmament of heaven.

📚 Abraham 5
📜 13 But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it; for in the time that thou eatest thereof, thou shalt surely die. Now I, Abraham, saw that it was after the Lord’s time, which was after the time of Kolob; for as yet the Gods had not appointed unto Adam his reckoning.

Planets and stars keep counsel with the Maker:
each orbit a slow litany, each light a spoken name.
He set the lights for signs and seasons, and worlds without number answer—
from Kolob’s reckoning to the smallest star that turns the night.
All things above and beneath bear likeness and record of Him,
from the unmanifest silence of Ain to the first outpouring of limitless light;
creation’s choir repeats the same refrain: the Author is known by His works,
and every heaven declares the purpose and mercy of the One who speaks.

Faith first: a small, sure thread that names the Maker; purpose already woven into every thing.
The path is narrow and Christ the way; understanding follows kenotically—learned only as you walk, not before you step.
Seek the knowledge of Jesus of Nazareth; in that knowing, the scattered patterns of creation find their meaning, and every purpose is seen as ordained.
Walk in faith, and the why becomes clear: the world’s design points to Him, and His cross makes the narrow road wide enough for the soul.
